GAME DAY FACILITATORS ``REFEREES``

Serving the Recreational Game

The Game Day Facilitator will oversee recreational youth soccer matches to make sure there is a safe, fair and enjoyable soccer environment for players, coaches and spectators.

Following completion of the required Cal North curriculum, the Game Day Facilitator will be assigned by Clearlake Youth Soccer League to participate in the management of recreational games using applicable Laws of the Game and Cal North game-day policies. Prior to each match the organization of the home team will provide the Game Day Facilitator with a pinnie to identify the Game Day Facilitator to the teams and with a whistle to aid in managing the match. Proof of Game Day Facilitator risk management clearance will be readily available for the game participants to view to ensure fair play and safety before, during and after the match will be the primary function of the Game Day Facilitator.

Referees will be selected at the sole discretion of the CYSL Board.
